  • Using numerical models for idealized studies (tropical cyclones, QBO-like oscillation, convection and gravity waves)
  • Numerical model output and observation data study using statistical methods (artificial neural networks, principal analysis, etc.) 
  • Extratropical cyclone dynamics and energetics.

  • Higrads, a GrADS script library to produce high-quality plots.
  • SEvol, An idealized symmetric evolution model of tropical cyclones based on Sawer-Elliasen equations, in Fortran.
  • SimAnn, a simple ANN program in Fortran with one hidden layer.
  • Ez_EOF, an easy to use Fortran module for EOF/PCA analysis.
