IN BRIEF
The undergraduate program in Meteorology at HUS has been a national leader in education and research for over half a century. The program aims to prepare students for careers in meteorology, climatology, and other related areas. The curriculum is tailored to achieve the student’s long-term education goals, their career aspirations in meteorology and climatology, and their general interest in the field. All students receive a solid background in mathematics, physics, and data and computational skills that can be used in a wide range of applications within and beyond meteorology.
With a B.Sc. degree in Meteorology, students have opportunities for employment within agencies of government (NHMS, IMHEN, MONRE, DONRE), many private firms, and in colleges and universities for those who continue with graduate education. The undergraduate curriculum in meteorology is modeled on the program and recommendations of the Pennsylvania State University.

Students in the Meteorology benefit from a well-known faculty with diverse areas of expertise in the field of atmospheric sciences.
