This program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in Hydrology with adequate fundamental, basic and specific hydrological knowledge that can work for professional research institutes, educational and administration orgnizations, research services, consultal offices, meteorological and hydrological services related to water resource and environment.
The program bases on system of credits for raising the sense of initative in teaching and studying, leads to approach and integrate into the international standards. It provides students the basic knowledges of mathematics, physics, informatics and computational methods in specific issues and graduates will be conrcerned with hydrological problems in agriculture, industry, tourism, transportation, environment and water resource management.
Credit Requirements:
Students in Hydrology can choose one between the two majors:
- Continental Hydrology
- Integrated Water Resource Management
For each major, the total number of credits is 131 which are divided into:
- Common Subjects: 30
- Social Sciences and Humanities Subjects: 4
- Fundamental Subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, ...): 37
- Basic Subjects in Hydrology: 36
- Specialized Subjects (subjects vary depending on each major): 17
